Mariposas de Papel was a bilingual (Spanish and English) community-devised production with domestic workers in the Mission district of San Francisco. I co-led the partnership development and devising processes while overseeing the training of M.F.A. actors new to community-based performance.
We played theatre games. We shared stories.
We danced together.
