DIRECTING & DEVISING

As a theatre maker, director, and applied theatre practitioner, I utilize ensemble-based devising as both a research and performance-making methodology. My work has taken up issues such as housing insecurity and gentrification, antiblackness and the carceral state, and the labor injustices experienced by migrant women domestic workers. Along the way, I have adapted my practice into a mode of popular education, community organizing, and artist training in order to build capacity for grassroots social transformation through performance-making.

 

I also have a wide variety of experience working on scripted plays, including dramaturgical work and new play development, and I have worked as a theatre technician on over 30 professional productions.
